We cannot thank Amy and the team at Whitaker Seager enough for their support in selling our cottage. From the initial consultation right through to exchange, they were absolutely fantastic — professional, approachable and genuinely supportive throughout.Communication was excellent at every stage, and we always felt informed, reassured and in very safe hands. Their advice was consistently sound, honest and well judged. In particular, when it came to considering a price reduction, they offered thoughtful, sensible guidance without ever being pushy, which ultimately helped us achieve our sale.Nothing was ever too much trouble, and we always felt that they genuinely cared about getting the best possible outcome for us. It made what can be a stressful process feel so much more manageable. We are extremely grateful to Amy and the team for their professionalism, dedication and excellent service. We would wholeheartedly recommend Whitaker Seager to anyone looking to sell their property.

From start to finish Whitaker Seager have been utterly professional in selling our house. They have kept us fully informed throughout, are incredibly knowledgeable and empathetic in what, at times, was quite an emotional sale. I wholeheartedly would recommend them to anyone.

We had a fantastic experience with Whitaker Seager. They were great to work with and refreshingly honest, accommodating and communicative. They are also a lovely group of people! They managed to list and sell our house extremely quickly, with us being against the clock on the property we were purchasing through them too. In valuing our home, they provided us with a wealth of research, and it was clear once we listed it that they had a great knowledge of our home and its history. They were also highly accommodating in the house that we purchased, giving us honest context around it and plenty of opportunity to return and get measurements etc.We would really recommend Whitaker Seager to anyone purchasing in the area.As a side - their 'For Sale' signs are also very aesthetically pleasing!

Professional, sensible, estate agents. They helped to price our well according to a tricky market and we had an acceptable offer within 2 months and sold four months later, so start to finish six months. Would highly recommended.

Excellent service. We have had some appalling experiences with agents and Whitaker Seager excel at what they do.They communicate effectively and make you feel as though you are as important as the vendors. It's refreshing and we are very pleased to buy through Liz and the team.

Could not have had a better experience than with this firm . My sale was lengthy and stressful due to a collapsed chain but dealt with swiftly and compasionately and with a new buyer in place quickly. The best thing about dealing with this firm is the staff. I nearly always dealt Amy who could not have been more on the ball, knowledgable, helpful and kind. She always went the extra mile to provide a good service. Well done to all of them for their hard work and professionalism

From the get-go, Whitaker Seager were outstanding. I consider myself a very efficient person, but Liz is on another level. She ensured we had everything in place before we even went on the market so that nothing on our side would hold up the process later on.Liz’s organisation and efficiency were remarkable. She anticipated issues before they became problems, chased things relentlessly when needed, and always seemed to know exactly what needed to happen next. It gave us real confidence that our side of the transaction was being handled as well as it possibly could be.We ended up in a very long, complicated and frankly incredibly stressful chain. At times I genuinely wondered how any of us would get through it. However, thanks to Liz, Jason and Amy, we did.Their attention to detail was phenomenal. They were proactive, constantly on the ball and always one step ahead of what was happening in the chain. Communication was excellent throughout and whenever problems arose they were quick to investigate, explain the situation clearly and keep things moving wherever possible.Selling a house in a complicated chain is never easy, but having a team like this behind you makes all the difference. If we were ever selling again, Whitaker Seager would be the first people we would call. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them, they were phenomenal!

Whitaker Seager Estate Agents were excellent throughout the whole process. Liz, Amy and the team, are so professional, supportive, and genuinely caring which makes what can often be a stressful experience much easier to manage. They kept us informed, responded quickly to any questions and always made us feel that our situation mattered. I would highly recommend Whitaker Seager to anyone looking for an estate agent who is not only extremely efficient but also truly supportive and attentive.

My buying experience with Whitaker Seager proved exceptional. Liz was fantastic at keeping me in the loop, and responding near instantly when I had questions or concerns, which were met with thoughtful replies and willingness to actually get stuck in and help. Through no fault of theirs, one aspect of the purchase became quite challenging, and Liz continually worked to ensure it was kept on top of and later resolved within our original timeframe for completion. Genuinely can't think of any criticism to offer - it was just so nice to feel like a valued client as a buyer; a great team of people I would gladly do business with again.

We sold our house recently with Whitaker Seager and they were brilliant. We felt very looked after by them throughout the process. We have moved a few times now and we always use local estate agents rather than the chains, and Whitaker Seager have continued the trend of local businesses being best. They chased conveyancing for us, they gave us regular updates, they found us a buyer in 21 days, they were just brilliant.

Our experience with Whitaker Seager has been nothing but positive. They have gone above and beyond in what turned out to be a much more protracted process than we thought it would be! They kept us up to date every step of the way and did everything they could to expedite matters. Always responded to phone messages and always friendly, helpful, supportive and upbeat, whichwe really appreciated and at times we really needed! I would recommend them to anyone whois thinking of moving. A 100% positive experience.

We conducted a property search and viewed a few properties with Liz, Jason and Amy in the local area before we found our now new home. The service they provided was excellent and we managed to get our purchase through in just 8 weeks. I would highly recommend them for their professional approach and efficiency during a house sale or purchase. 5 Stars 🌟

We have now used Whitaker Seager twice, both times have been a pleasure, we will continue to use them due to their honesty, professionalism and knowledge- we have been so disappointed by the likes of Savills and Knight Frank, as a customer we just wanted a smooth transaction and that is exactly what you get with Liz, Amy and the team, can not recommend higher than that.

Whitaker Seager did a great job for me, marketing and selling my period cottage. They really know the market, pricing the property correctly and achieving full asking price. Whitaker Seager were both friendly and efficient. Although our house purchase took some time to go through it was not for want of trying on their part. They remained patient and responsive to our phone calls. Even after the sale had completed they were helpful in tying up a few loose ends such as a missing key and information from the vendors about maintaining our wonderful new home. Thank you Whitaker Seager! I would happily recommend them.

Serious down sizing is always a problem but all members of Whitaker Seager were so supportive, professional and kind. They gave us immediate feedback on all viewings and more importantly, as our chain was rather long, kept up the progress with the other buyers. This took so much stress from us and we can't thank them enough. Amy, Liz and Jason were a delight and we would thoroughly recommend their services.

Our experience with Whitaker Seager was very positive. They were very professional and dealt with the sale of our property quickly and efficiently and at a good price. We have had no hesitation in recommending them to various friends who have been equally impressed and also used them recently when acting as executor for a friend who passed away.

15:05 18 Nov 25

We decided to use Whitaker Seager following service provided to very good friends who spoke highly of the company. From the first moment that we met Amy our requests and requirements were met with professional conduct and personal attention. From targeted marketing an early potential buyer was found which through no fault of Whitaker Seager could not be proceeded with.Very shortly after a new buyer was found. Although the final sale took many months to complete Amy or one of her team kept us fully informed of progress.I would strongly recommend Whitaker Seager to others.

We bought our house through Whitaker Seager. We were in a long chain of buyers and sellers, so the process was a complex one, but expertly handled by Jason and the team. He was friendly, professional, easy to contact with great local knowledge. He continued to offer support after the sale was complete, passing queries on to the vendors after we moved in and were getting to know the house. I would definitely recommend using this estate agent, and if we move in the future will ask Whitaker Seager to represent us.

Mark Russell

15:34 15 Nov 25

Liz, Amy and their team provided a very personal and attentive service. They were always available to offer advice and guidance through the process. We chose Whitaker Seagar to market our property based off the fact they had sold a similar property close by. Additionally we liked the way they presented themselves. We couldn’t have been more happy with the complete experience; from the initial consultation & valuation through to completion. Liz, Amy and Jason are extremely professional and friendly people. The persistence and support they provided throughout the sale of our property was outstanding. The icing on the cake that they also helped us find our amazing new property. I would highly recommend Whitaker Seager as they are experienced, knowledgeable, highly motivated and have an excellent external photographer. Thanks for making our challenging sale & purchase journey much easier than it could have been. Chris & Annaleise

If you are looking for an estate agent that will go the extra mile, be fabulous at keeping communication flowing between parties and always be swift with any action, whether contacting a solicitor or buyers / sellers in the chain - then this is the estate agents for you.The process for us went smoothly, without glitches, and when speaking to other parties in the chain, we realised how lucky we were! The personal touches of frequently touching base with us, and meeting us after the completion to have a cuppa, chat and for them to deliver a bottle of wine and a lovely heartfelt card was the icing on the cake.I cannot recommend Liz, Amy and Jason highly enough. Thank you so much x

One of the main things I was looking for, when selling a house, under very stressful circumstances, was working with an Estate Agent with good communication skills. Amy and Liz delivered on this, were straightforward to deal with, and were also proactive, and dedicated in their approach to following up on info further down a tricky chain. Their time, help and persistence was so very much appreciated. Thank you.

Excellent service and advice from Jason and the team. They kept us informed at every stage, giving feedback on viewings promptly and relaying questions and messages from our buyer. They made sure everything was progressed with the solicitors, both with our buyers solicitors and with the selling solicitors of our new home. It was only a local move but it couldn't have gone better. Thankyou all for your help.

We have just acquired a delightful old village house in Bisley largely through the friendly and sympathetic support of Jason Rees very ably backed up by Liz in the office .We heard of the acceptance of our offer over a Bank Holiday weekend from Jason, who made us feel as though we were his only clients and a special relationship developed after our first meeting with him over a year ago . He became our ‘go to’ contact after a series of near misses in the intervening period and at a low point for us he came up with the goods! Can’t thank Whitaker Seager enough for his and Liz’s support throughout the whole emotional process of selling the family home of nearly 40 years in Somerset, to be nearer our families in Stroud and Bath.

We had such a positive experience with Whitaker Seager. We were selling my mother’s house, so it was a challenge for us as a family in many ways. We recently purchased a new family home through Whitaker Seager Estate Agency, and we couldn’t be more impressed with their dedication and professionalism.Amy, in particular, demonstrated an incredible work ethic, always going above and beyond to ensure that everything was moving along and always keeping us updated. What truly sets Whitaker Seager apart from other agents we have dealt with, is their personal manner. they took the time to understand our needs and preferences, and their friendly, approach made us feel like we mattered to them rather than just being yet another customer. We also want to highlight the contributions of the other team members; they were all instrumental in making our experience positive and nothing ever seemed to much of an ask, no matter how small or insignificant our questions seemed to be. Their collective expertise, responsiveness, and commitment to excellence are truly commendable. The entire team at Whitaker Seager Estate Agency works together seamlessly to provide top-notch real estate services. We would highly recommend Amy and the entire team at Whitaker Seager Estate Agency to anyone looking for a professional, hardworking, and personable company to work with.

As far as we're concerned, no estate agent can compare to Whitaker Seager. They are simply the best. Over the last year we have bought and sold with them, having some challenges along the way with vendors and buyers. Whitaker Seager took it all in their stride, going way beyond what you would normally expect of an estate agent, providing a superb service. They are great communicators, professional, responsive, friendly, and remained constantly so while taking us through a sometimes difficult process. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

We decided to use Whitaker Seager to sell our house after receiving a recommendation from a friend. When Liz came over to the house we realised that she was the agent that sold it to us 16 years earlier when she worked for another agency and so we were delighted to see her again!Liz and the team including their photographer, could not have been easier to work with. They were knowledgeable, professional, friendly and caring. We had a steady stream of potential buyers and accepted an offer that we were happy with. This is where the whole of the Whitaker Seager team stepped up and helped to manage the chain of 5 families, solicitors and agents through to completion, which at times was challenging. My wife and I were very impressed by the fact that we were regularly kept up to date, professionally advised throughout and everyone was so friendly and reliable. We would not hesitate to fully endorse and recommend Whitaker Seager to anyone wishing to sell their house.”

What a great estate agent. It was a difficult sale from the beginning but the team went the extra mile continuously. Nothing ever seemed too much trouble however many times we contacted them. One thing that always stands out beyond everything and is so important, if we had to leave a message, one of the team would always without fail call back even late into the evening. That is 5 star service. Thank you to all the team.

Liz & Amy shared a vision for my property that no other agents quite matched. They saw the potential and the appeal the property had and this was reflected in the guide price. In the end the house generated 12% more than three other agents all thought possible. Oh, and the whole team were then incredible throughout the sale process.Ian

I have no hesitation in recommending Whitaker Seager to anyone looking for an Estate Agent.Thank you so much ladies (and gentleman)!

Throughout our house hunting, our best experiences during viewings were always with Whitaker Seager. They come prepared with in depth knowledge of each property and of the area. During a difficult time for buyers, they supported us to eventually being successful with a property we thought we had lost out on.Amazing communication and lovely friendly service. I'm so glad we purchased through them and will be recommending them highly to friends and family.

Earlier this year we put our four-bed detached house in Chalford on the market. We chose Whitaker Seager because of all the estate agents we considered, they understood our needs and hopes whilst offering the best service. Our contact was Amy Seager and from our first meeting it was apparent that she was a consummate professional and knew her business through and through. She booked an excellent photographer who took extremely good photographs that made us want to buy our own house!Throughout the whole selling process Amy, supported by Liz and Rachel kept us fully informed and managed any problems promptly and effectively. Communication was excellent, and they were flexible and adaptable. My wife and I can wholeheartedly recommend Whitaker Seager to anyone looking to sell their home, whatever the size.

Liz & her team are brilliant. From the first meeting we were so impressed by Liz’s enthusiasm, knowledge & professionalism. The photographer they uses is excellent & presented our property in its best possible light. You only have to compare their brochures with other estate agents to see the difference. We are absolutely delighted with the professional & personal service we received. We highly recommend Whitaker Segar !

We really wanted to leave a glowing review for Liz, Amy, Rachel and their team at Whitaker Seager. They are highly personable, professional and provide an excellent and compassionate service for their clients. Liz was our main contact and we immediately felt that she genuinely cared, really listened to our needs and was passionate about her work and helping us on our journey in this very crazy property market. Liz is extremely knowledgeable and clearly has extensive experience so you know that you are in good hands and can trust her judgement. We found Whitaker Seager to be an estate agent that demonstrates and values integrity and excellent communication at every stage. Thank you so much for all your support, we have no hesitation in recommending you and will certainly engage your services again in the future. With warmest wishes.

Amy supported me all the way through what was quite a daunting experience. I got feedback after every viewing and some really great advice. It felt like we could communicate honestly and I felt safe in their hands, they are so efficient, I never waited for a call back and I felt like they had it covered - every step of the way..

Whitaker Seager were the most professional of the four agents we spoke to about the sale of our house. They gave the most accurate valuation and were very supportive throughout the process of the sale. I would thoroughly recommend them.

We sold our house through Liz & Amy, knowing it would be a challenge to find the right buyer, as it was a slightly unusual layout. We sold to only the second person to view, during a particularly difficult time during COVID. Liz kept us informed regularly & we managed to exchange & complete before the end if the Stamp Duty holiday. We would recommend Whitaker Seager, especially if selling a village property.

Throughout the whole process from the viewing to the completion I found the girls at Whitaker Seager helpful, friendly, professional and competent. Communication was excellent and someone always got back to me the same day if no one could take the call initially. On more than one occasion I had phone calls in the evening showing a real sense of caring for the customers. Amy was particularly efficient with communicating with the solicitors and proactive in keeping everybody working together to achieve completion on the date we requested. In all my experiences of selling or purchasing houses this is the best service I have had and I highly recommend Whitaker Seager. The properties are some of the best in this area and through their extensive local knowledge always seem to be accurately presented and realistic with the valuations. I would use them again without hesitation. Thank you so much Amy and Liz.

Liz came to visit our house knowing we were only in the process of a financial review and had no imminent plans to sell. She came prepared with reports of other properties sold locally, spent over 2 hours with us. Not only did she spend time talking about the positives but also some of the areas that might be less popular with prospective buyers. Her valuation was considered and thoughtful. She was very professional. The whole appointment was managed excellently. Whitaker Seagar set out to offer a more personable service. Our appointment was certainly that. If and when we do come to sell we will defiantly be talking to Whitaker Seager.
